Last week, I shook the world by introducing Music Monday. Nobody had ever thought of Music Monday before, such a clever use of alliteration the world had never seen before. Today I bring you that sad news that today is the last ever Music Monday. Also, it’s one day late. This day just keeps getting worse.

009

As it’s the last ever Music Monday, I’m going to rank the top Glee songs. Because you all know how much joy I get out of ranking Glee things.

20) Home (Season 6)

The final song of the double bill of episodes for Season 6. It was a great start to the season.

19) It’s Time

Season 4 started with some worries. Nothing like a Blaine solo to get us back into the grove.

18) Thriller / Heads Will Roll

Taken from one of the best episodes. It’s a fantastic Mashup.

17) My Life Would Suck Without You

The last song of the first 13 episodes, featuring dance moves from the past performances. And Will & Emma’s first kiss!

16 ) Jump

Mattress + Van Halen = fab.

15) I Feel Pretty/ Unpretty

The Rachel & Quinn song we all dreamed about. It was beautiful.

14) Never Can Say Goodbye

Season 2 was light on Quinn solos. The first one after never 20 episodes was all about the power of Quinn.

13) I Lived

The final Glee song. Need I say more.

12) Tongue Tied

The ‘hell yeah we won Nationals’ number. One of the best.

11) Some Nights

The first big number for the New Directions 2.0. I loved it.

10) Teenage Dream

Blaine was introduced through the song.

9) We Are Young

After a shaky few episodes at the start of Season 3 with the Glee Club falling apart, We Are Young brought everyone back together.

8) Pompeii

The last few episodes of Season 5 blew. Pompeii really gave us hope for times to come and closed the season off in a great way.

7) Love Shack

One of the best songs ever.

6) Don’t Stop Believin’

The song that started it all!

5) Loser Like Me

The first original Glee song to be released. I was worried when I heard they were doing ordinal numbers, but Loser Like Me is great.

4) You Can’t Stop the Beat

Season 3 started off so well thanks to this song.

3) You May Be Right

Season 5 was sad because of Finn’s passing. You May Be Right was one of the best numbers because Will was singing and dancing with the Glee Club, everyone was happy and it was a wonderful thing.

2) Don’t Stop

If I was to ever get a tattoo, I’d get the lyrics to Don’t Stop on me. I think that speaks volumes.

1) Paradise by the Dashboard Light

1176 plays at the time of writing. What else could be the best Glee song ever? This song man, even after 3 years I still listen to it everyday. I’m not obsessive, I promise.
